===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JULY 24th – 29th, 2024 =====

The summer schedule never slows down! With racing nearly every day and some big independent events, we saw a lot of movement in the rankings this week.

Zack Garner rebounded from his first round loss in Urbana to win the tough field in Springfield, beating out 12th-ranked Jack Brown in the finals, and moving himself back into the Top 5. David Olfert made even more progress as his 2-race sweep on the over-under track in Lamar, Missouri gained him 7 spots in the Open rankings.

Dawn Creten extended her World Series winning streak to 3 before Michael Brister finally got past her on the gravel ramps in Halifax. Brister was another big mover this weekend.

Teammates Alex Bardin and Frank Krmel split the All Star weekend in Florida while teammates Jon and Chris Koehler split the Throwdown weekend in Ontario.

Cliff Vowell and Perry Como scored their first wins of the season with Versus Monster Trucks and Bryant Rogers got his first career 8-truck bracket win against veteran drivers with the Full Throttle tour.

We’ve got another busy week ahead, too, so if you’re at any events please write down the racing bracket and send it to us here on our Facebook page or at staff@mtroc.com so we can score it for the standings.

Thank you to everyone who reported results to us this weekend: Mike Bevacqua, Preston Perez, Mark Werner, Joseph Rodriguez, Jeremy Hall, Ryan Craig, Ceejay Rettew, Daniel Clark, Nate Bay, Max Gillie, J.r Rouse, Bryan Wagner, Steve Parry, David Rife, Nick Kraemer, Tim Howard, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

Garner moves up 2 spots with the win and is back in the Top 5.

7/25 Thu Ngt: PRESTON PÉREZ [Toxic] defeated Montana Robbins [Plane Krazy]

One more midweek race to mention and that was the fast Chicago-style action in Union Grove.
